2008 Show
March 21st and 22nd, 2008
at Prairieland Park
Saskatoon, Sk.

The 48th annual car show was again a great success with many enthusiasts commenting how they enjoyed the atmosphere in the Prairieland Park facility. There was more room, it was all on one level, and they still got to enjoy the wonderful displays of rods, customs, and special interest vehicles. Each morning of the show would see line-ups anxious to get an early start at the show. The children always enjoy receiving the Hot Wheels vehicles donated by Wal-Mart and Mattel. Also returning were many vendors and the displays from SGI, the RCMP, and the Traffic Safety board. A great crowd surrounded the Battle of the Technician competitions and cheered them on. Even though Easter weekend was very early in the year, and the weather was chilly, there was a large interest in the "Cool Car Corral."
All of this is done to support Camp Easter Seal, to which the Draggins have donated over 1.25 Million dollars in the last two decades. Funds this year will help the Abilities Council build facilities like a commercial laundry, a wheelchair accessible tree house, shelter and storage for equipment, and shelter and covers at the boat launch.
The Draggins car show is completely volunteer-run by the members, spouses, family, friends and others. There is no promoter making money from the show.
